I was just pulling one of these for a customer and it really made me think for a moment about how many parts that Scoutparts.com makes to fit Scout 80, Scout 800, Scout 800A, and Scoout 800B. We really have collected a large group of parts that we remanufacture to fit the International Scout. This little part seems to be such a simple thing, but if you don’t have one, your door is going to swing in the breeze every time you open it. I have seen many people try to make them out of rebar and other such raw stock with varying rates of success. If you are doing a restoration, this is a great way to go.
