International Harvester Replacement Parts for Light Line Scout 80, Scout 800, & Scout II Parts
I am selling my 1964 Scout. Iíve spent most of my time and $ís replacing the engine, dash/gauges/wiring, and undercarriage. The body is very straight (green body, white top). It runs excellently. The body does have some rust in the usual Scout places and needs new paint. Additionally, the brakes need work. Here is a partial list of what has been done:
New, crate engine
Converted to 1970ís Chevy 350, V-8
Less than 100 miles on engine
New Edelbrock carburetor
Converted to automatic transmission
Converted to power steering
Custom aluminum radiator
New chrome-tipped exhaust
New, custom drivelines
New rear leaf springs
Rebuilt front leaf springs
Springs under axel with shackles added for couple inches of lift New shocks
5 New tires and wheels, Wildcat LT All Terrain New fuel tank, custom mount underneath Heavy duty skid plate mounted around fuel tank Removable top Drop-down windshield Custom dashboard New wiring New gauges (including oil pressure & water temp)
This Scout is ideal if you would like a durable, renovated vehicle. It's going to run a long time with the new engine, etc that has already been invested. Itís a blast to drive and will make an exceptional off-road vehicle for hunters or recreaters. If you are interested in making a statement around town, most of the internal work has been done so that you could polish up the outside with your choice of paint color.
