Scout II, Scout Terra, Scout Traveler 8-track MARS player, eight track tape player - Used audio player cassette type player.    
Description: 8-track and 4-track tape player, use. This player has been tested and all functions are working, both channels left and right have good volume. No flutter. Good steady sound. Made by MARS. This is a very nice looking player with chrome platting on metal case. There is very little plastic on this chrome plated steel case. Exterior wiring has been updated and labeled for easy installation. Wiring will be labled and updated. It will arrive ready for installation. Comes with one Dionne Warwick "No night so long" album. Working playing 8-track cassette tape. 8-track was the first portable tape player. 8-track had some strengths, It was at least as rugged as cassette tape but it's transport speed was higher, higher tape/transport speed equals more data and better quality sound than cassette. The reason that 8-track was pushed aside was, the total length of play time was less than cassette.
