Scout II, Scout 80, Scout 800 Brake Return Spring Installation Tool
Description: This tool is a real labor saver! On Bendix-type dual-servo brake systems, there are a pair of shoe return springs that hook over the main pivot. Those springs have a lot of tension, and reinstalling them will take even a person with strong hands about 10 minutes, and personal injury is a definite probability. This tool allows you to grab the spring by the shank of the spring and hook it over the pivot with both hands. Spend less time swearing and more time driving! This also works for the double-ended return springs that were used on the earlier Lockheed-style and Hi-Tork brake systems.
