Scout 80, Scout 800 Front Turn/Parking Light Lens Gasket Kit (1950-68)
Description: This is a gasket kit for the front parking & turn signal lamps used on Scout 80 and 800, older Metro vans, and the L and R-series trucks and Travelalls. Each kit includes one outer and one inner gasket. (Amber lens not included) The inner gasket seals the lens to keep dust and water out of the light assembly so the lens stays clean on the inside and your lights stay bright. The outer gasket fits between the bezel and the lens, and acts as a shock absorber or vibration isolator to keep the road vibrations from causing cracks or lens breakage. It also cushions the lens so it does not break if you happen to overtighten the bezel screws. As the lenses are almost impossible to find anymore, these seals are cheap insurance against damaging them. Each vehicle will require two kits. Kit does not include the lens.
