Description:
This is the J-shaped breather tube that goes between the air cleaner assembly and the valve cover on vehicles that used the inline 232 and 258 Powerthrift gas engines used in Scout 800, Scout II, Travelalls, and pickups. The breather filter element goes inside of the large end of this tube. Often these tubes are rotted due to exposure to motor oil. If the tube is missing, your PCV system will not work, so you will get water and dust and corrosion in your motor. Get rid of that saggy tube and protect your engine!
