If you have a fancy fabric or vinyl interior door panel, These clips are probably what holds it on to the door. These were used on all IH scouts & trucks built in the 1960's. They almost always break when you remove the old corroded ones.

1961-1967 Scout 80 and 800 could have Detroit or Cleveland type universal joints (as pictured). These U-joints have an internal lock ring instead of the external ring outside the cap. The cap diameter is about an inch and they are used on the Dana 27.

All Scout II vehicles use this tail lamp housing gasket between the metal or plastic (depending on year) housing and the body. Without this gasket the tail lamp housing fills with water, the contacts corrode, and eventually the bulb fails.
