Pitman Arm - Off Road Using our off road pitman arm together with our off road drag link, you can completely eliminate the sloppy ball joint in the Scout 80 800 and upgrade to a newer style tie-rod type joint. The pitman arm is a brand new part which is precision milled to recieve the tapered drag link end used in our off road drag link assembly.
Tie Rod Assembly - Off Road This aftermarket tie rod assembly replaces both the short and long tie rod ends in any Scout 80 or Scout 800 (for 1961-1971 Scouts) To use the high performace tie rod assembly in place of your old tie rod assembly you must change your drag link to a tie-rod style drag link (SP17221).
Drag Link - Off Road High performance drag links are available for 4cyl, 6cyl, and 8cyl Scouts. If you use your Scout 80 or 800 off or on road you can upgrade to this drag link which had tie rod ends on both ends. This drag link works together with the SP10396 tie rod end. TO use this drag link you will need to drill a hole in the placeof the pitman arm ball to accept the tie rod end.
