If you get your Scout out on some gravel and apply brake pressure you can determine if either the front or rear brakes are locking up too early. This adjustable proportioning valve allows you to fine tune the front to rear braking pressure.

The later Scout II trucks used a plastic tail light housing. This is the replacement lamp socket for the upper socket which holds the tail and brake lamp (dual contact). Buy this socket if your old one is rusted and will not accept a tail lamp.
